In social media, attention gets carried away in streams and oversaturated in feeds. The [[internet]] as posting, posting, posting. Here in my garden site, I have a different intention to tend toward stillness. I want to build little places for attention to rest and return. I want each page, while it exists, to stand unmoving but growing like a plant in a garden. My sense is that these pages will come into being, live, connect and die over time. But the truth is these are not pages. They're screens, and this is a screen garden. Other takes like this: - [Maggie Appleton on Digital Gardening](https://maggieappleton.com/garden-history)
